THE PARTY SHOP was founded by Laura Maita, a Tampa, Florida native & owner of Emerald Events & Catering and Milk & Sugar. Laura has completed an impressive tenure exceeding two decades in the hospitality sector prior to stepping into entrepreneurship. Guided by a deep passion for aesthetics, entertaining, and food, Laura founded Emerald Events & Catering in 2018. Since then, Emerald has become one of Tampa Bay’s premier event companies, proudly serving some of the region’s most elite residents and professional athletes.

Laura’s creative vision and the companys dedication to exceptional experiences have fueled the company’s growth and success, leading to the launch of Milk & Sugar, a mobile ice cream company, and The Party Shop Tampa, our boutique party store located in the heart of South Tampa.

The Party Shop offers modern party supplies, balloons, gifts, custom event details, catering consultations and Emerald’s signature charcuterie boards.
